OUR STORY
How We Started
The business was founded in Boulder, Colorado in October 1991 under the name Special Vehicle Equipment. Over time, the name evolved into SVE, a simpler way to represent the same standard of work that has never changed.
In 1996, the shop moved to its current location at 465 Alter Street in Broomfield. What began as a small body shop in Boulder has grown into one of the most reviewed auto body operations in the Denver metro area.
That growth didn't happen by accident. It's the result of consistent, hands-on involvement. Butch and our experienced team stay close to the work, with an unwavering commitment to quality.

OUR TEAM
Our team is what makes SVE work. The people in the office, on the shop floor and in the detail bay all run on the same things: fast responses, clear communication and a real love for cars. Most of us have been here for years, and many have been working on vehicles their entire careers. When you bring a car to SVE, you get a small crew who cares how every job turns out and takes pride in doing it right.
The office team handles everything that happens around the actual repair. They build estimates, work with insurance companies, schedule drop-offs and pickups and keep you updated from start to finish. They are the voice on the phone and the first face you see when you walk in.

When you bring your vehicle to SVE, Tom handles the repair process from start to finish. He coordinates your estimate, communicates with your insurance company and keeps you updated throughout. You do not have to track anything down or follow up on anything. That is his job.

For as long as you own your vehicle, we will correct or repair any defect attributable to faulty workmanship at our expense. That covers structural repairs and paint. It is on every repair invoice.
BMW Certified Repair
We hold BMW collision repair certification. That means manufacturer procedures, factory specifications and your warranty stays intact. We apply the same standard to every make we repair.

We Handle the Insurance
You drop off the car. We take it from there. Direct billing, direct communication with your adjuster and full claims documentation. You are not in the middle of that conversation unless you want to be.
