WHAT CERTIFICATION MEANS FOR YOUR VEHICLE
Why Stellantis Chose to Certify SVE for Jeep Repairs
The FCA Certified Collision Care Program administered by Stellantis selects repair facilities that meet the manufacturer's requirements for equipment, technician training and repair procedures across all Jeep models. SVE is certified to perform Jeep collision repairs using Mopar OEM parts and Stellantis-approved procedures. That certification is maintained through ongoing verification.
Jeep vehicles present unique structural challenges that non-certified shops are not equipped to handle. The Wrangler and Gladiator use body-on-frame construction with specific frame geometry requirements. The Grand Cherokee, Grand Wagoneer and other unibody Jeep models use high-strength steel and advanced safety platforms. SVE has the Stellantis-specific tooling and training both types of construction require.

THE RISK OF GOING UNCERTIFIED
What Happens When Your Jeep Goes to a Non-Certified Shop
Factory Warranty at Risk
Jeep repairs performed outside the Stellantis certified network using non-Mopar parts or incorrect procedures can void your factory warranty. A non-certified shop has no obligation to protect your coverage. SVE's Stellantis certification does.
Structural Integrity Compromised
Jeep's body-on-frame vehicles like the Wrangler and Gladiator carry specific frame load paths and geometry requirements built for both road and off-road stress. A non-certified shop without Stellantis frame equipment cannot restore that geometry correctly after a collision — which affects handling, safety and the vehicle's off-road capability.
Safety Systems Left Uncalibrated
Modern Jeep vehicles carry Forward Collision Warning, Blind Spot Monitoring, Lane Departure Warning and rear cross path detection systems embedded in the body structure. After a collision these systems require recalibration using Stellantis's FCA wiTECH diagnostic equipment. Non-certified shops do not have that equipment.
WHAT OUR CERTIFICATION REQUIRES
Stellantis Holds SVE to a Specific Standard for Jeep Repairs. Here Is What That Covers.
01
Mopar OEM Parts
Every Jeep repair uses Genuine Mopar OEM parts sourced directly from Stellantis. Engineered specifically for Jeep vehicles to meet factory specifications for fit, finish and structural performance. No aftermarket substitutions.
02
Stellantis-Specific Tooling and Equipment
Jeep certification requires manufacturer-specific equipment including Stellantis frame straightening systems, computerized measuring equipment and the FCA wiTECH diagnostic scan tool required for ADAS recalibration on all Jeep models.
03
I-CAR and Stellantis-Certified Training
SVE technicians complete I-CAR Gold Class training and Stellantis-specific supplemental training covering all Jeep vehicle platforms including body-on-frame construction, unibody structures and Jeep's safety and driver assistance technologies.
04
ADAS Recalibration to Jeep Specifications
Jeep's Forward Collision Warning, Blind Spot Monitoring and Lane Departure systems require post-collision recalibration using the FCA wiTECH scan tool to Stellantis factory specifications. SVE performs this in-house on every applicable Jeep repair.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Questions About Jeep Certified Repair
Does SVE use Mopar OEM parts on every Jeep repair?
YES
Yes. Stellantis certification requires the use of Genuine Mopar OEM parts on all certified Jeep repairs. Mopar parts are engineered specifically for Jeep vehicles to Stellantis factory specifications. We do not source aftermarket substitutes on certified Jeep jobs.
Will my Jeep factory warranty stay intact after a repair at SVE?
YES
Yes. Repairs performed by a Stellantis certified facility using Mopar OEM parts and factory procedures maintain your factory warranty. A repair at a non-certified shop using non-OEM parts can give Stellantis grounds to deny warranty claims on the repaired area.
Does SVE repair Jeep Wranglers differently than other Jeep models?
YES
Yes. The Wrangler and Gladiator use body-on-frame construction which requires different frame repair equipment and procedures than unibody Jeep models like the Grand Cherokee. SVE's Stellantis certification covers both construction types with the specific tooling and training each requires.
Does SVE repair Jeep 4xe plug-in hybrid models?
YES
Yes. The Jeep Wrangler 4xe, Grand Cherokee 4xe and other plug-in hybrid models fall under the same Stellantis certification. Hybrid and electric powertrain components require additional care during structural repairs to avoid damage to high-voltage systems. SVE follows Stellantis procedures for 4xe repairs on every applicable model.
Do I have to use the repair shop my insurance company recommends?
No
No. In Colorado you have the legal right to choose your own collision repair facility regardless of which shop your insurance company prefers. Your insurer may suggest a shop within their preferred network. You are not required to go there.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Questions About Kia Certified Repair
Does SVE use Genuine Kia parts on every repair?
Yes. Kia certification requires the use of Genuine OEM Kia parts on all certified repairs. These parts are manufactured to Kia's exact specifications for structural integrity, fit and finish. We do not source aftermarket substitutes on Kia jobs.
Will my Kia factory warranty stay intact after a repair at SVE?
Yes. Repairs performed by a Kia Certified Collision Repair Facility using Genuine Kia parts and Kia repair procedures maintain your factory warranty. A repair at a non-certified shop using non-OEM parts can give Kia grounds to deny warranty claims on the repaired area.
What makes Kia's newer vehicles harder to repair without certification?
Kia's current vehicle platforms use a combination of aluminum, magnesium and high-strength blended steel in the same body structure. These materials behave differently under impact and require specific repair methods, tooling and sequences that standard steel repairs do not. A non-certified shop without Kia's specific equipment and training cannot repair these structures to factory safety specifications.
Does SVE repair Kia's EV6 and EV9 electric vehicles?
Yes. SVE's Kia certification covers the full vehicle lineup including the EV6 and EV9. Electric vehicle collision repairs require the same certified procedures as other Kia models. ADAS recalibration is completed in-house to Kia's specifications on every applicable EV repair.
Do I have to use the repair shop my insurance company recommends?
No. In Colorado you have the legal right to choose your own collision repair facility regardless of which shop your insurance company prefers. Your insurer may suggest a shop within their preferred network. You are not required to go there.
