WHAT CERTIFICATION MEANS FOR YOUR VEHICLE
Why Stellantis Chose to Certify SVE for FIAT Repairs
The FCA Certified Collision Care Program administered by Stellantis identifies repair facilities that meet manufacturer requirements for technician training, repair information, equipment and quality control. SVE repairs FIAT vehicles using applicable Stellantis procedures, professional diagnostics and Genuine Mopar OEM parts whenever specified by the repair plan.
Dodge performance vehicles carry engineering that goes beyond standard collision repair. The Charger and Challenger use high-strength steel unibody structures tuned for high-output powertrains. SRT models carry additional performance specifications that affect how structural repairs interact with the vehicle's handling geometry. SVE's Stellantis certification includes the training and tooling those repairs require.

THE RISK OF GOING UNCERTIFIED
What Happens When Your FIAT Goes to a Non-Certified Shop
Parts and Repair Standards Missed
FIAT body panels, trim pieces and structural components are designed for precise fit in a compact vehicle platform. Incorrect parts or generalized repair methods may cause poor panel alignment, corrosion-protection issues and incomplete repair documentation.
Compact-Body Geometry Compromised
Small changes in FIAT body measurements can affect door operation, wheel alignment, suspension geometry and the way exterior panels fit together. A certified repair uses model-specific measurements and Stellantis procedures rather than relying on general specifications.
Safety Systems Left Uncalibrated
The FIAT 500e contains high-voltage battery and electric-drive components that require special precautions. Depending on the model and year, FIAT vehicles may also include cameras, parking sensors and driver-assistance technology that must be scanned or calibrated after collision repairs.
WHAT OUR CERTIFICATION REQUIRES
Stellantis Holds SVE to a Specific Standard for FIAT Repairs. Here Is What That Covers.
01
Mopar OEM Parts
FIAT repairs are planned using Genuine Mopar OEM components where required. These parts are designed around the original vehicle’s dimensions, attachment points, structural requirements, finishes and electronic compatibility.
02
Stellantis-Specific Tooling and Equipment
FIAT certification requires access to manufacturer repair information, computerized body measurement, approved structural equipment and Stellantis-compatible diagnostics. SVE uses the appropriate tools for the vehicle and the type of collision damage involved.
03
I-CAR and Stellantis-Certified Training
SVE technicians receive professional collision-repair training along with manufacturer-specific instruction. Training addresses compact FIAT body platforms, model-specific materials, refinishing, electrical systems and procedures for electric vehicles.
04
EV Diagnostics and ADAS Calibration
The FIAT 500e requires high-voltage safety checks and appropriate diagnostic procedures before and after applicable repairs. Cameras, parking sensors and driver-assistance components are also inspected and calibrated when required by the vehicle’s repair procedures.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Questions About Kia Certified Repair
Does SVE use Genuine Kia parts on every repair?
Yes. Kia certification requires the use of Genuine OEM Kia parts on all certified repairs. These parts are manufactured to Kia's exact specifications for structural integrity, fit and finish. We do not source aftermarket substitutes on Kia jobs.
Will my Kia factory warranty stay intact after a repair at SVE?
Yes. Repairs performed by a Kia Certified Collision Repair Facility using Genuine Kia parts and Kia repair procedures maintain your factory warranty. A repair at a non-certified shop using non-OEM parts can give Kia grounds to deny warranty claims on the repaired area.
What makes Kia's newer vehicles harder to repair without certification?
Kia's current vehicle platforms use a combination of aluminum, magnesium and high-strength blended steel in the same body structure. These materials behave differently under impact and require specific repair methods, tooling and sequences that standard steel repairs do not. A non-certified shop without Kia's specific equipment and training cannot repair these structures to factory safety specifications.
Does SVE repair Kia's EV6 and EV9 electric vehicles?
Yes. SVE's Kia certification covers the full vehicle lineup including the EV6 and EV9. Electric vehicle collision repairs require the same certified procedures as other Kia models. ADAS recalibration is completed in-house to Kia's specifications on every applicable EV repair.
Do I have to use the repair shop my insurance company recommends?
No. In Colorado you have the legal right to choose your own collision repair facility regardless of which shop your insurance company prefers. Your insurer may suggest a shop within their preferred network. You are not required to go there.
