WHAT CERTIFICATION MEANS FOR YOUR VEHICLE

Why Stellantis Chose to Certify SVE for Chrysler Repairs

The FCA Certified Collision Care Program administered by Stellantis selects repair facilities that meet the manufacturer’s standards for equipment, technician training and repair procedures across Chrysler vehicles. SVE repairs Chrysler vehicles using Stellantis-approved procedures, professional diagnostic equipment and Genuine Mopar OEM parts whenever required by the repair plan.

Chrysler vehicles require more than general body repair knowledge. Pacifica and Voyager minivans use complex floor structures, sliding-door systems and carefully engineered passenger compartments. The Chrysler 300 carries its own unibody and suspension specifications, while the Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid includes high-voltage components that require additional precautions during collision repair. SVE’s certification includes the training, procedures and equipment necessary to address these systems correctly.

Mopar identifies certified collision facilities as shops equipped with qualified technicians, authentic OEM parts and manufacturer-supported repair practices. Chrysler’s current U.S. lineup includes Pacifica and Voyager, while many earlier Chrysler models remain on the road.

THE RISK OF GOING UNCERTIFIED

What Happens When Your Chrysler Goes to a Non-Certified Shop

Factory Repair Standards Missed

A repair that does not follow Stellantis procedures may use incorrect parts, joining methods or repair sequences. That can create problems with panel fit, corrosion protection, structural performance and documentation for future warranty or insurance claims.

Structural Alignment Compromised

Chrysler vehicles depend on precise body measurements for door operation, suspension geometry and passenger-compartment protection. On Pacifica and Voyager models, improper floor or side-structure repairs can also affect sliding-door alignment and sealing. A certified repair follows model-specific measurements and structural procedures.

Safety and Hybrid Systems Left Unchecked

Modern Chrysler vehicles may include cameras, radar sensors, parking sensors and driver-assistance technology positioned throughout the body. Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid models also contain high-voltage components. These systems must be inspected, scanned and calibrated as required after collision repairs.

WHAT OUR CERTIFICATION REQUIRES

Stellantis Holds SVE to a Specific Standard for Chrysler Repairs. Here Is What That Covers.

01

Mopar OEM Parts

Chrysler repairs are planned around Genuine Mopar OEM components manufactured to the vehicle’s original fit, finish and structural specifications. This includes Chrysler-specific body panels, brackets, sensors, glass components and hybrid-related parts where applicable.

02

Stellantis-Specific Tooling and Equipment

Chrysler certification requires computerized frame measuring, approved structural repair equipment and Stellantis-compatible diagnostic technology. SVE uses the tools and repair information required to restore Chrysler vehicles according to manufacturer specifications.

03

I-CAR and Stellantis-Certified Training

SVE technicians complete professional collision-repair training along with manufacturer-specific instruction. Training covers Chrysler unibody construction, sliding-door and minivan structures, refinishing requirements, electrical systems and safe procedures for hybrid-equipped vehicles.

04

Diagnostics and ADAS Calibration

Cameras, radar sensors, blind-spot components and parking systems may require scanning or calibration after body repairs. SVE completes the required pre-repair and post-repair checks and ensures applicable Chrysler safety systems are returned to manufacturer specifications.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Questions About Chrysler Certified Repair

Does SVE use Genuine Mopar OEM parts on Chrysler repairs?

YES

SVE plans certified Chrysler repairs around Genuine Mopar OEM parts and Stellantis repair requirements. Parts are selected according to the vehicle, damage, manufacturer procedures and the approved repair plan.

Will my Chrysler warranty remain protected after the repair?

YES

Following manufacturer repair procedures and using appropriate parts helps preserve repair documentation and warranty eligibility. Warranty coverage ultimately depends on the vehicle’s warranty terms and whether a later issue is related to the repaired area.

Does SVE repair the Chrysler Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid?

YES

The Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid includes a high-voltage battery and electric-drive components that require additional inspection and safety procedures during collision repair. SVE follows applicable Stellantis procedures for hybrid-equipped Chrysler vehicles.

Does SVE repair discontinued Chrysler models?

YES

SVE repairs current and previous-generation Chrysler vehicles, including the Chrysler 300 and Town & Country. Repairs are based on the manufacturer information available for the vehicle’s specific model year and configuration.

Can I choose SVE if my insurance company suggests another shop?

YES

You may ask your insurer to coordinate with SVE. Our team can communicate directly with the insurance company, prepare repair documentation and handle approved supplements throughout the repair process.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Questions About Kia Certified Repair

Does SVE use Genuine Kia parts on every repair?

Yes. Kia certification requires the use of Genuine OEM Kia parts on all certified repairs. These parts are manufactured to Kia's exact specifications for structural integrity, fit and finish. We do not source aftermarket substitutes on Kia jobs.

Will my Kia factory warranty stay intact after a repair at SVE?

Yes. Repairs performed by a Kia Certified Collision Repair Facility using Genuine Kia parts and Kia repair procedures maintain your factory warranty. A repair at a non-certified shop using non-OEM parts can give Kia grounds to deny warranty claims on the repaired area.

What makes Kia's newer vehicles harder to repair without certification?

Kia's current vehicle platforms use a combination of aluminum, magnesium and high-strength blended steel in the same body structure. These materials behave differently under impact and require specific repair methods, tooling and sequences that standard steel repairs do not. A non-certified shop without Kia's specific equipment and training cannot repair these structures to factory safety specifications.

Does SVE repair Kia's EV6 and EV9 electric vehicles?

Yes. SVE's Kia certification covers the full vehicle lineup including the EV6 and EV9. Electric vehicle collision repairs require the same certified procedures as other Kia models. ADAS recalibration is completed in-house to Kia's specifications on every applicable EV repair.

Do I have to use the repair shop my insurance company recommends?

No. In Colorado you have the legal right to choose your own collision repair facility regardless of which shop your insurance company prefers. Your insurer may suggest a shop within their preferred network. You are not required to go there.
